Project Strengthening ICT facilities for High quality Education in rural post conflict zones

In October the DRCC foundation in cooperation with the Uni50 de Lwiro and the ADDROSMIL RDC asbl launched a cyber space for the Uni 50 to link the university student and the international community. ITC facilities are very crucial for the improvement and quality scientific and educational purposes. The internationalization and globalization are main issues to increase the credibility and accessibility of the university. For this project, the Rector of the Uni50, the Prof Dr. Mubalama Zibona Jean-Claude has been in the Netherlands and Belgium during previous weeks for cooperation, network and lobbying for the infrastructures of this new university in rural areas in South-Kivu. This university has to mitigate big challenges to improve the educational level in the rural areas and to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Agenda 20130. With the cooperation and commitment of both the Uni50 and the DRCC foundation, we are confident to build healthy institutions and sustainable communities in post conflict areas, where social media and new technologies are still a big issue.
