Contribution to the Dutch NAP 1325 IV on Women Peace Security Agenda & COVID19 recovery

As an important NAP 1325 signatory, the DRCC foundation has played a crucial role and contribution to the development of the new NAP IV that will be launched in October 2020.

The National Pillar and The International Pillar are both implementation field areas of the DRCC foundation.

Beneficiaries:

The consultation included more than 60 organizations participating, both Ministries, NGOs, research institutions, Universities, Entreprises, and ….

Results:

Lobby and advocacy for the inclusion and equal participation of the Diaspora women organization in the lobby, advocacy and implementation policy on the UNC Resolution 1325 NAP IV with the MoFA.

Women Economic Empowerment and the Achievement of the SDG’s at National (in NL) & International level (in the DRC as focus country)

To participate to the policy development towards the NAP IV, the DRCC foundation is empowered by the existing gender lobby group of the MoFA & WO=MEN.  Since 2016, the DRCC foundation is coordinating the Dutch 1325 NAP III DRCongo Country group together with the WO=MEN gender platform & the MoFA.
