DRCC foundation is a signatory of the Dutch National Action Plan (NAP) on the UNC R. 1325 on Women, Peace & security in post-conflict zones.

This program IHOA is a Lobby and Advocacy for Women Peace Security Agenda & SDG’s in rural post-conflict areas in the Kivu, DRC.

Local political & traditional Leaders consulted to facilitate Women’s political participation in conflict resolution.

Results

The Ministry of Justice & Human Rights, The Traditional Chiefdom in villages, local universities, as well several women NGOs grassroots in villages are involved to achieve Gender Equality and the indicators of the UN SDG.s in rural areas.

Outreach:

Women’s Economic & Political Empowerment is gained as supported by the locals as well by the provincial government. The role of the Diaspora is to link the North and South in the implementation of a local National Action Plan on the 1325 UNR (See Leading from the South Perspective )
