Inclusive Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship in post conflict zones

This project is a contribution to the DDRC policy & the SDG’s from a gender perspective in post-conflict zones, DRC. 

The long-lasting conflict of the lasts 3 decennia has driven several youth and social categories women and men to engage in the armed militia. With the international community, the DRC is making efforts to integrate the formers soldiers, child soldiers and other vulnerable youth in the local community and the economy.

DRCC foundation is contributing to the government policy to improve the quality and the infrastructure of the Vocational training and linking learning process with several skills in Entrepreneurship for sustainable and peaceful communities.

At Lwiro/Katana in the South-Kivu, DRCC foundation with local partners in DRC has recently supported to set up the Reference Centre for Vocational Training CAML Asbl, the Reference center is under the leadership of a woman.

Beneficiaries:

Vulnerable boys and women from the mining zones and demobilized groups are participating to the training
